The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has added the Yaroslavl-based LGBTQ initiative “Callisto” to the list of banned extremist organizations. The corresponding entry appeared on the ministry’s website on July 3, 2026. As of that moment, restrictions on the association have legally come into force.
