Moscow Court Fines Roblox 8 Million Roubles in Two “LGBT Propaganda” Cases
Moscow’s Tagansky District Court fined Roblox Corporation 8 million roubles over two administrative cases involving so-called “LGBT propaganda,” according to Mediazona and Ostorozhno, novosti.
According to the judge, Roskomnadzor identified the violations in September 2025. The court said the case involved a “positive assessment of non-traditional values,” but it did not specify which materials led to the charges.
One of the administrative protocols against Roblox Corporation was filed with the Tagansky District Court on February 9, 2026. At the time, Mediazona reported that the company was accused under Part 4 of Article 6.21 of Russia’s Code of Administrative Offenses, which covers so-called “LGBT propaganda” online among minors.
Roblox has been blocked in Russia since December 2025. Roskomnadzor said the reason was the distribution of materials of an “extremist” nature, calls for violence, and “LGBT propaganda.”
