Pride Parade Held in Pristina Under the Slogan \"Equality or Revolt\"

On June 5, 2026, a march in support of the LGBT community took place in the capital of Kosovo. Participants and supporters walked through the main streets of Pristina with rainbow flags and the main banner reading “Equality or Revolt” (Barazi ose revoltë).

The event was held under increased security measures. Civil society activists, human rights defenders, and foreign ambassadors accredited in Kosovo joined the march. The participants demanded equality , protection of rights, and dignified treatment.

Unlike previous years, government representatives, including Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, did not participate in the parade.
