In a poll conducted from January 24 to February 2, more than 60,000 respondents reported their preferences for the federal election. The AfD received 27.9% of the vote. At a clear distance were the Greens (19.9%), the Christian Democratic Union (17.6%), and the Social Democratic Party of Germany (12.5%).</p>
